ISLAMABAD: On Thursday, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House was ordered to be unsealed by the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
The ruling was made in response to a request contesting the sealing of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House in Islamabad by Chief Justice Aamir Farooq of the IHC.
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) made the case throughout the hearing that some debts were unpaid and that some constructions were illegal. They stated that 2014 saw the issuance of the first notice.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House’s sealing was ordered to be removed by CJ Farooq. When speaking to the CDA’s attorney, the CJ said that they could follow the law.
He underlined that they should not appear to be targeting anyone and that they could resolve any problems with due notification.
The CJ gave the necessary authorities, including the CDA, instructions to continue with de-sealing the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House.
