PM demands that the educational system be modernised with an emphasis on technical training.

The necessity of offering high-quality education and technical training has been emphasised by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who has also highlighted the growing demand for information technology, digitalization, and skill development in today’s educational institutions. He implored the nation to match these contemporary demands with its educational framework.

As the chair of a crucial review meeting for the Federal Ministry of Education and Technical Training, Shehbaz asserted that without an excellent educational system, no country can advance. He restated the government’s first goal, which is providing high-quality education and technical training.

The prime minister reiterated the government’s resolve to make sure that no kid is excluded from education. He emphasised that an educational emergency had been proclaimed immediately after his administration assumed office, highlighting the need of strengthening education in Pakistan.

In order to establish a consistent education system throughout the nation, Shehbaz Sharif has demanded the holding of a national curriculum leadership conference.

He also gave the go-ahead for the building of Daanish Schools in impoverished regions like Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Balochistan to proceed at a faster pace. The prime minister also directed the installation of e-libraries with free public internet access and access in parks and public spaces, as well as the building of daycare centres for female teachers in all Islamabadi educational institutions. Shehbaz Sharif suggested monthly stipends for female students in Islamabad’s rural districts and ordered the inclusion of technical training in curricula in an attempt to boost the number of female students enrolled.

Additionally, he emphasised the necessity of offering free technical training to dropped students. In addition, he emphasised the necessity of starting awareness programmes and giving free technical training to former students in order to persuade them to return to school.
